We offer a wide range of premium, sanitary stainless steel wine tanks and related technology for almost all phases of the winemaking process: fermentation, maceration, storage, maturation and clarification. Stainless steel tanks have many benefits in the wine industry: they are easy to clean and to regulate their temperature. Our wine tanks are available in various capacities up to 100.000 liters and can be configured according to the desired production goals. We design and manufacture the tanks with function-appropriate cooling, insulation, mixing units, and CIP cleaning possibilities. Upon request, we provide a complete, tailor-made technological solution from the pressing of the wine until the packaging.

Fermentation tank for white wine

These stainless steel, cylindrical tanks are designed for the fermentation and storage of white wine under atmospheric pressure. They can be equipped with any kind of manways, valve types, legs, or agitators. Upon request, they can be manufactured with laser welded double jacket, or equipped with thermometers, computer control, or plate heat exchanger. The cladding can be marbled, pickled, or other varieties upon request. The inner surface and the weld finishings are etched and passivated for easy cleaning and the prevention of the accumulation of impurities. The constant temperature required for the fermentation process is provided by the cooling jacket which is placed according to the needs of our Partners. The lower manway allows the easy lowering and cleaning of the tank.

Fermentation tank for red wine

One of the main aspects of the design technology of our red wine fermentation tanks is to dissolve colour compounds (anthocyanins), tannin compounds and aromas from the grape skins as much as possible. Our tanks can be ordered with the following technological design:

Pressure Fermenters
(for sparkling wine)

Also referred to as “Charmat Tank”, this stainless-steel pressure vessel is designed to produce sparkling wine. It has a double jacket and dished bottom. With this method the second fermentation is made in large, closed pressurised tanks before bottling.The construction material of our wine tanks are stainless steel WNr. 1.4301 and they are manufactured with a double-sided welding, TIG mode. The cover can be pickled or marbled. The tank is insulated with 100 mm PU foam to minimise the energy consumption. The cooling jacket assures the maintenance of the optimal temperature inside the pressure vessel.

Multi chamber wine tanks

This type of tank is designed for the fermentation and the storage of wine or other beverages. With this setup, multiple tanks are placed within one single vessel to make maximum use of the space available given that we are able to store two different fluids in one place. The chambers are entirely separated so there is no danger of contamination.

Insulated wine tanks

Insulated stainless steel tanks designed for oenological processes where the precise temperature control and temperature retention are very important, such as the cold stabilisation of wine. The tanks are insulated with 100 mm of PU foam, in order to minimise the energy loss during the cooling processes.
